Can You Make Yourself Smarter?…

the jury is still out. Dan Hurley has written some great stuff on this topic. I am looking forward to his soon to be published book about intelligence.

Based on the most current research in the field of neuroscience, the way we discriminate against the “aging” brain is probably due more to social and health related factors rather than the actual neurological ability of the adult learner. The jury is still out, but I for one am putting my money on “brain fluidity” for all!

Neuroplasticity

I am interested in further exploration of how neuroscience and learning in adulthood link together. Inherently neuroscience not only addresses an organ, but it also addresses more philosophical issues such as emotions, perceptions of the physical world, and the physiological basis of mind.

Check out the American Psychological Association’s web site and tell me what you think!
